The Carolina Colonial Post Light Metal Top Copper Lantern, shown here in our rustic Antique Copper finish with Clear glass and metal top, is handmade in the USA from solid copper and brass. The solid copper and brass construction guarantees that your lanterns will never rust or corrode, making them ideal for outdoors use in areas that get rain and snow. The optional metal top, as shown, can be used to meet local dark sky requirements or to provide a different look for your outdoor lighting. Available in your choice of four standard sizes, eight all-natural hand applied finishes and four glass options, this traditional copper lantern pairs well with a wide variety of Traditional and Early American home styles including Colonial, Colonial Revival, Dutch Colonial, Cape Cod and more.

Choose from any of our eight all-natural copper and brass hand-applied finishes at no extra cost. Unlike painted or powdered coated finishes our natural finishes will never crack, rust or peel, guaranteed for life.
Each of our finishes is the result of an all-natural chemical process which mimics the natural aging process to produce a 'living finish'. Over time these finishes will gradually develop the beautiful natural patina copper and brass are known for increasing the value and beauty of your lanterns as time goes by while forming a natural protective barrier.
